Photo lovers, today I have the distinct privilege of introducing you to baby Meiah, who’s officially 9 days new!
I think we can all agree: Her characteristic – hair, cheeks, tummy, smile should earn her a spot on the cover of every baby magazine in the nation! Seriously, I’m practically melting from cuteness overload!
Anyway, as you can see from the pictures below, Meiah and I had one of the best sessions together. Her mom, Lauren, fed baby Meiah before our session and kept her awake so she would sleep easily during the $ hour session we had. Mom also had some of the cutest bows and outfits for her. Her preparation efforts allowed us to have an especially awesome shoot together.
Meiah slept all the way through the 4 hour session. And when she wasn’t sleeping, Meiah was happy, calm, giggly, relaxed, and smiley. She couldn’t have been any better.
Because the shoot went so well, I asked Lauren if she would share one helpful piece of advice with other mothers planning a newborn session (See – I’ve got your back, moms around the world). Her biggest piece of advice is: feed and change baby before and don’t let her nap until the session.
I can’t wait to see how baby Meiah grows and changes in the upcoming months! I get to shoot her adorable self every few months with my milestone package! I am so excited!
